Tremendous Reception for The New Model at the Farnborough International Airshow 2006.

The 2006 Farnborough International Airshow and Exhibition ran from 17th to 23rd July in Farnborough, England. The New Model was featured in Hall 2 on Stand C32. In addition to the many casual visitors 78 people stopped and left their name or business card. Of these only two were less than enthusiastic about the concept. Positive responses were obtained from pilots of heritage fleets and modern jet aircraft. A professor of Information Technology was astonished by the speed with which airspace solutions were calculated. Two current controllers with operational experience of the modelled sector found nothing significant to criticise in the approach (praise indeed). A captain on the 777 fleet with a major UK airline was enthusiastic about the potential to deliver traffic information with full intention data to the cockpit.

Descriptions of the New Model appeared in FLIGHT DAILY NEWS on 18th July and in the September 2006 issue of AEROSPACE INTERNATIONAL.
